Those orbs or ufo seen buy the shuttle have been around alot,i seen other shuttle images of hundres at a time flying in an out of earths atmosphere they had purpose not shooting stars some were flying strait than make angular turns would turn around and fly back in,i think that is the reason you see no stars now on the spacestation an the moon there are some many fling in an out,so they just blacken out the backround on everthing! and that alien baby FREAK ME OUT!!!Man that thing has to be real!!just the way it moves an talks,give me goose bumps,super freaky whoooo!

They look like ufo orbs, they say there unmaned or unaliened ships collecting data,not sure really but prety awesome,they seem to be up to something hanging around in an out for so many months,and so many people seeing then,keep looking up Goodluck

Saw 6-7 of them tonight, Randburg, JHB, SA. at approx 08:30. Initially thought that it was a meteor shower (which is due tonight) but objects where changing direction, flying through , the below and above the clouds changing in height.

Most awesomely amazing thing ever.

Orange in colour, moved at immense speed, very close to the ground. Not an aircraft, was not flying on one of the designated normal aircraft routes in the area, did not display any regular aircraft light signals. Not a meteor as they seemed to changed direction and hight upon will.

My nephew and I saw the same thing this eveing over Pinelands; a large orange globe traveling east to west, then turned north, became smaller and eventually dissapeared. It was just a round ornage globe, and was most certainly not a airplane or shooting star or satelite. Very cool!

My daughter saw something similar last night 29 Jan 2012 at about 10h30 / 11h00. Her and a friend were lying chatting in bed and she looked outside her window due to bright lights flickering (RED). About 50m above our neighbours roof was this really round object (not an aeroplane)with 3 rectangular red lights at the bottom of the craft just hovering there. All of a sudden it just took off at an immense speed. That's when she came to call me - we went outside but could see nothing.....really, really scary stuff... This happend in Durbanville, Cape Town.

I am very glad to see your comments, it's completly amazing & crazy !! My boyfriend and I saw exactly the same like you OMGWTF ! One big light yellow fliying above the sea,very low on the sky and strangely ! The object was moving left and right and suddenly disappeared !! It was yesterday 26 Jan 2012 at 11pm at Sea Point. Just 15min later, I saw in the sky the strangely big light again and suddenly took off at a speed impossible to describe !!! Same as in science-fiction movies ! I am shocked ! Is was not human, I am sure ! I hope someone filmed this amazing thing ! Actually I stand before my windows ! The truth is out there !!!

Hi there, very happy i found this blog, last night 27 Jan 2012 me and friend experienced very similar experience but same discription. We stay in Durbanville and early morning (04:00) we woke up due to vehicles speeding in our streets. So we went to have a look on the stoep. We saw police vehicles all over Plattekloof hill, at that moment, we noticed 3 abnormal stars spread over the sky. The were flickering red, orange, white and we think blue, but odd thing was, they were floating very low, one even came down almost touching hill. The started flickering fast, and a yellow bright light appeared. suddenly tiny lumina green and orange lightfigures that was scattered, started moving into same direction up the hill. (We noted no airplanes were present to make landings at airport) We couldn't believe what we were seeing. Untill a oval object (covered in lights) hovered above tygervalley and waterfront. We heard choppers, and a strange plane came past smoking from engines. At dawn, the lights dissapeared into atmosphere and street lights turned off we saw a few of those lumina lights on top of roofs of houses (Our conclusion they were left behind) the last thing we saw was a huge huge boeing flying through valley, way too low at an unthinkable slow speed - no sound...then dissapeared into distance and sunlight
